A guide to Paris

We know that choosing your next holiday can be a hard task as there are so many amazing places to choose from but we would like to suggest that you take the time to visit Paris. Whether you choose to come here for a week or a long weekend there is a whole load of things that you can do with your time. So here we have brought some of the best things to do in Paris so that you are never struggling to fill your time whilst there:

Climb the Arc de Triomphe

 Climbing the  284 steps to the top of the Arc de Triomphem may seem like a hard task but we want to tell you that it is worth it just to see  the views which sweep in geometric splendour between the arc of La Defense and the Louvre. We promise that the pictures that you will be able to take will be worth every single one of those 284 steps. We ask that you spare a thought for the Unknown Soldier whose grave sits solemnly in the centre of the arch.

Visit Fromagerie Quatrehomme

Fromagerie Quatrehomme is one of the most famous places in Paris to buy Fromage and you will often find Paris’ A-listers instore to buy their fromage. Fromagerie Quatrehomme is most famous for its goat’s cheese and its four year old Comte. Famous across the city for its Beaufort, four-year-old Comté and goat’s cheese. You will find the branch on rue du Poteau is off the tourist trail, on the northern side of the Butte de Montmartre.  Fromagerie Quatrehomme’s Left Bank branch is a 10-minute walk from Jardin de Luxembourg where you can enjoy your fromage in the park

Visit The Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel tower is easily the most famous edifice in the world. Make your way to the top and you will be confronted with jaw-dropping views of Paris. The Eiffel Towers is visible from every vantage point across the whole of the city. There is a glass floor to look down to stand on and look to the ground below. The Eiffel Tower also hosts a Michelin- starred Jules Verne restaurant and a brasserie. At night The Eiffel Tower lights up giving you an amazing photo opportunity.

Visit the Louvre

The Louvre is a huge museum with galleries and wings so big you could easily spend a full day here and still not see it all. You will be able to see the famous Mona Lisa and feast your eyes on Egyptian mummies. Not only is the inside of the Louvre amazing but so is the building itself. This place is a must see if you are in Paris.
